Needham Line: On Fri. Oct, 16 service will be suspended between South Station and Forest Hills. Passengers may consider the Orange Line for service to Forest Hills, Ruggles, and Back Bay with connections to the Red Line for service to South Station.

Back Bay Elevator 854 (Commuter Rail track 2 to lobby) is unavailable.

Needham Line: On Mon, Oct 19 service will be suspended between South Station and Forest Hills. Passengers may consider the Orange Line for service to Forest Hills, Ruggles, and Back Bay with connection to the Red Line for service to South Station.

From 11 PM on Friday, October 16 through Sunday, October 18, Needham Line service will be suspended to accommodate West Roxbury Bridge work.
There will be no shuttle bus service. MBTA Bus Routes 35, 36, & 37 will provide alternative service between West Roxbury and Forest Hills for Orange Line Service. MBTA Bus Route 59 will provide alternative service between Needham Junction and Newton Highlands for Green Line D-Branch service. There will be no service to Hersey. This outage will also occur on: October 23-25 November 6-8 & 13-15 December 4-6

🧑🔧 To exit, use South Station Elevator 926 located on opposite side of the lobby, to the left of the subway monitoring office. Alternatively, travel up the ramp towards the Commuter Rail Concourse, and at the base of the escalator, turn left and continue down the hallway. At the end of the hallway, use South Station Elevator 6476 to access the Commuter Rail Concourse. To board, cross Atlantic Ave towards the South Station main entrance and Elevator 926 to access the subway lobby. Alternatively, enter the South Station Commuter Rail Concourse and use Elevator 6476 located to the left of the information desk.
Franklin Line Train 724 (8:10 AM from Forge Park/495) is operating 5-15 minutes behind schedule between Walpole and South Station.
