Eastbound #78 Montrose buses will operate via Montrose, Broadway, Lawrence, and Clark, then resume their normal route on Montrose.
Westbound buses are not affected.
Allow extra travel time.
Why is service being changed?
Buses are rerouted due to construction at the Wilson Red and Purple Line Station.

How does this affect my trip?
#78 Montrose buses will no longer operate on Clark between Montrose and Wilson. Buses will instead operate in both directions on Ashland.
- #78 buses will no longer serve the bus stops at:
- Clark/Montrose - go one block west to board buses at Ashland/Montrose instead
- Clark/Sunnyside - go one block north to board buses at Clark/Wilson instead
- Eastbound #78 bus stop on the southeast corner at Clark/Wilson will be relocated across the street on the southwest corner.
- Westbound #78 bus stop on the southwest corner at Clark/Wilson will be relocated across the street on the northwest corner.
- Eastbound #78 bus stop on the southeast corner at Ashland/Montrose will be relocated to the northeast corner. The westbound bus stop is not affected.
Additionally, westbound #78 buses will now serve the southbound bus stop at Ashland/Wilson which also serves the #9 Ashland.
