Elevator at Cumberland Temporarily Out-of-Service
The elevator to/from street at the south pedestrian bridge to Cumberland (Blue Line) is temporarily out-of-service due to an electrical issue.
The elevator is currently estimated to return to service on Wednesday, April 8th, 2026. (Note: date subject to change).
Crews are working to return this elevator to service as quickly as possible.

Boarding Change, Delays Between Racine and Jackson
How does this affect my trip?
Board/exit all trains on the Forest Park-bound side of the platform at the UIC-Halsted, Clinton and LaSalle stations.
Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Racine and Jackson, resulting in minor delays.
Why is service being changed?
We are performing track maintenance to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the Blue Line.
