How does this affect my trip?
Eastbound #92 and northbound #146 buses will end their trips on Broadway at Berwyn.
Westbound #92 and southbound #146 buses will begin their trips at Broadway/Berwyn, operate via Broadway, Bryn Mawr and Sheridan to Berwyn, then continue their normal route on Sheridan.
Buses will not operate on Berwyn Avenue. Board buses:
- on Broadway at Berwyn
- #92 on northeast corner (stop
) - #146 on southeast corner
- #92 on northeast corner (stop
- on Sheridan at Berwyn, southwest corner (stop
).
Allow extra travel time.
Note: On Saturday, April 5, Berwyn Avenue reopens and buses will resume their normal route, but boarding will remain on Broadway, south of Berwyn, for approximately 2 weeks.
Why is service being changed?
Buses are rerouted due to the reconstruction of the Berwyn Avenue roadway and sidewalks at the Red Line as part of the Red and Purple Modernization (RPM) Program.

Southbound buses will operate via Michigan, Ontario, State, and Wacker, then resume their normal route on Michigan.
Allow extra travel time.

Buses are rerouted due to maintenance on the Michigan Avenue (DuSable) Bridge over the Chicago River.
