Evening service is being modified to improve connections to the Metra Peterson/Ridge station.

How does this affect my trip?
The eastbound stop for the Red Line (stop ) at the southeast corner at Bryn Mawr/Winthrop will be restored to its previous location, a 1/2-block west, between the Red Line station entrance and southwest corner at Bryn Mawr/Winthrop.

Why is service being changed?
The bus stop is being restored due to completion of the reconstruction of the Bryn Mawr Avenue roadway and sidewalks near the Red Line as part of the Red and Purple Modernization (RPM) Program.

How does this affect my trip?
Eastbound buses operate via Bryn Mawr, Sheridan and Thorndale, ending their trips at the Thorndale Red Line station.

Westbound buses begin their trips at the Thorndale Red Line station, operate via Thorndale, Broadway and Hollywood, then resume their normal route on Ridge.

Buses connect with Red Line trains at Bryn Mawr station (service toward downtown and 95th only) and Thorndale station (service toward Howard, and toward downtown and 95th).

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
Buses are rerouted due to the start of Red and Purple Modernization (RPM) Stage B construction and the opening of a new temporary Bryn Mawr station with Red Line service toward 95th only; routing buses to Thorndale station continues direct connection to Red Line service in both directions, toward Howard and 95th.
