Boarding Change at Wilson
How does this affect my trip?
The west platform at Wilson is temporarily closed. Board/exit all trains on the east platform.
On the east platform, Red Line trains to Howard and Purple Line trains to Linden board on the outside track. Red Line trains to 95th and Purple Line trains to the Loop board on the inside track.
Why is service being changed?
The Wilson west platform is temporarily closed due to the reconstruction of the two west tracks between Thorndale and Wilson stations as part of the Red and Purple Modernization (RPM) project.

Bryn Mawr Temporary Station Relocated, 95th-bound Service Only
How does this affect my trip?
The temporary Bryn Mawr station entrances on N Broadway and on Bryn Mawr Avenue under the old "L" viaduct have closed, and a new temporary Bryn Mawr station has opened.
The new temporary Bryn Mawr station entrance is located on the south side of Bryn Mawr Avenue, 75 feet east of the old entrance under the "L" viaduct.
The new temporary Bryn Mawr station is only served by Red Line trains toward downtown and 95th; Howard-bound trains do not stop at the new temporary Bryn Mawr station.
For Howard-bound service from the station, take a 95th-bound train to Argyle and transfer to a Howard-bound train.
For Howard-bound service to the station, take Howard-bound train to Thorndale and transfer to 95th-bound train back to Bryn Mawr.
Customers can also access Red Line service in both directions at the adjacent stations at Thorndale (1/2-mile north) or the new temporary Argyle station Foster Avenue entrance (1/2-mile south). #84 Peterson buses will be rerouted to connect to both the Bryn Mawr and Thorndale stations. #36 Broadway buses, 1/2-block west on Broadway, also can be used to connect to all three stations. Transfers between buses and trains are free.
Allow extra travel time for Howard-bound trips.
Why is service being changed?
A new temporary Bryn Mawr station was opened due to the start of Red and Purple Modernization (RPM) Program Stage B construction and the reconstruction of the two west tracks between Bryn Mawr and Wilson stations. There will be no Howard-bound service at the new temporary Bryn Mawr station because there is not enough space on the east side of the new elevated track structure to build a temporary 8-car platform for Howard-bound trains.

Argyle Temporary Station Relocation
How does this affect my trip?
The temporary Argyle station on W Argyle St is closed, and a new temporary Argyle station is open.
The new temporary Argyle station is located 1-2 blocks north, and has two staffed entrances:
- On Foster Avenue, south side
- On Winona Street, north side (1 block north of Argyle St)
Red Line trains in both directions – toward Howard, and toward downtown and 95th – stop at the new temporary Argyle station.

Lawrence Station Temporary Closure
How does this affect my trip?
Lawrence station is temporarily closed.
Please use the adjacent stations at Argyle (enter on Winona St) or Wilson, located within a few blocks of Lawrence station.
In addition, #81 Lawrence buses is rerouted to serve Wilson station for the duration of the temporary closure. See separate alert for details.

Red and Purple Line Trains Share Track between Thorndale and Belmont (Updated)
How does this affect my trip?
Red Line trains and Purple Line Express trains are sharing the same tracks between Thorndale and Belmont.
Purple Line Express trains continue to run express between Howard and Belmont, making only regular stops at Howard, Wilson and Belmont.
Note: At the same time, Berwyn and Lawrence are temporarily closed and temporary stations are open at Bryn Mawr and Argyle, to support reconstruction work. See separate alerts for details.
