University Park Station Parking Lot Entry Canopies Refurbished (UPDATE)
University Park Station west parking lot entry canopies will be refurbished from November 3 through Winter 2026. Passengers will not have access to the west parking Lot platform entry from November 3 through winter 2026. Passengers will have full access to the east parking lot platform entry through Winter 2026. During these closures passengers should use the east parking lot for all access. Customers are encouraged to use Richton Park for full access during the construction period.

On Saturday, November 1, the Metra Electric line will operate on a Sunday schedule due to construction work associated with the South Shore Line's expansion plans. Please allow additional travel time.

Monday through Friday, from 9AM to 4PM, the 103rd St,/Rosemoor station may not be fully ADA accessible due to nearby station construction.
ME The 95th St/Chicago State University station will close March 3, 2025 - Station Rehab and Expansion Project
On Monday, March 3, the 95th St./Chicago State University station will close for approximately 2 years to undergo a rehabilitation and expansion project. During this time passengers should use 91st street and 103rd St./Rosemoor stations as alternates. Updates will be provided.
ME 147th Street/Sibley Elevator Back in Service
The 147th Street/Sibley elevator is back in-service.
Michigan and Randolph Elevator Out of Service
The Michigan Avenue elevator located on the southwest corner of Michigan and Randolph is permanently out of service. Customers can use the South Water elevator, 225 N Michigan Avenue, or McCormick Place as an alternate boarding station.
Richton Park North End Platform Construction
The north end of the platform at Richton Park will be under construction until Wednesday, October 29th. Passengers must use the south end of the platform when boarding trains.
Metra Electric Partial Shut Down on Sunday, Nov. 2 - South Shore Expansion Project
On Sunday, Nov. 2, Metra Electric trains will terminate and originate from the 18th Street Station.?During this time, no service will be available at Museum Campus/11th Street and Van Buren Street stations. For ADA customers, Pace Paratransit vehicles will shuttle from McCormick Place to Millennium station. All other customers wishing to travel to Millennium Station must transfer at 18th Street.
