On Friday August 21, 2026, Kars on King will be held on the streets of downtown Oshawa. As a result, our buses will need to detour on King Street from 07:00, Friday, August 21 to 11:00, Saturday, Aug 22. 
 
The following stops will be missed:
 
West bound:
·         Simcoe St. S. @ Athol St. E.
·         Simcoe St. N. @ Richmond St. E.
 
Eastbound:
·         Centre St. S. @ Athol St. W.
 
During this time, customers are recommended to use the following stops for both directions: 
·          Simcoe St. N. @ Parkwood Crt.
·         Gibb St. @ Oshawa Centre

Update 2 - Unionville GO station access following Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham

The Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham has now concluded, and access to the station is continuing to improve.

The following amenities are now available:
- 500 parking spaces in Parking Lots 3 and 4
- Limited access to Passenger Pick Up and Drop Off area
- Step-free access to and from the station
- Staff are on-site to provide assistance

Please continue to use caution and follow all posted signage while at the station, as event-related infrastructure and materials are still being removed.

Please allow extra travel time when travelling to and from the station. Additional parking spaces will become available over the next two weeks as cleanup work progresses.

We expect the station and parking facilities to be fully restored by the end of the month.
