129 - MCCOWAN NORTH
The 129 McCowan North bus route operates between Scarborough Centre Station on Line 3 Scarborough, the area of McCowan Road and Steeles Avenue East, and the area of McCowan Road and Major Mackenzie Drive East in the City of Markham, generally in a north-south direction. Accessible service is provided on the route. Scarborough Centre Station is an accessible station. Bike racks are available on this route.
Two services are operated. The 129A (Scarborough Centre Station-Major Mackenzie) branch operates until approximately 11:20 pm from Monday to Friday, and until approximately 10:20 pm on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The 129B (Scarborough Centre Station-Steeles) branch operates at all times, seven days a week.
Service between Scarborough Centre Station and Steeles Avenue is part of the 10 Minute Network, and operates 10 minutes or better, all day, every day.
Northbound 129A to Major Mackenzie / Extra Fare Required North of Steeles
These buses operate from Scarborough Centre Station via east on Triton Road, north on McCowan Road, west on Major Mackenzie Drive East, south on Ridgecrest Road, west on Castlemore Avenue, and north on The Bridle Walk, east on Major Mackenzie Drive to Ridgecrest Road.
Southbound 129 to Scarborough Centre
These buses operate from Major Mackenzie Drive East at Ridgecrest Road via east on Major Mackenzie Drive East, south on McCowan Road, and west on Triton Road to Scarborough Centre Station.
Northbound 129B to Steeles
These buses operate from Scarborough Centre Station via east on Triton Road, and north on McCowan Road to Steeles/McCowan Loop (on the east side of McCowan Road, north of Steeles Avenue East).
Southbound 129 to Scarborough Centre
These buses operate from Steeles/McCowan Loop via south on McCowan Road, and west on Triton Road to Scarborough Centre Station.
