508 - LAKE SHORE
The 508 Lake Shore streetcar route operates between Long Branch Loop and the area of King Street East and Parliament Street, generally in an east-west direction. It also serves the St. Andrew and King Stations on Line 1 Yonge-University. Service is operated with low-floor, accessible streetcars.
Two services are operated. The 508 (Long Branch-Parliament) morning branch operates five Eastbound only trips during the morning peak period, from Monday to Friday only. The 508 (Parliament-Long Branch) afternoon branch operates five Westbound only trips during the afternoon peak period, from Monday to Friday only.
AM peak period
Eastbound 508 (Long Branch-Broadview Stn): From Long Branch Loop via east on Lake Shore Boulevard West, through Humber Loop, east on The Queensway, east on King Street West, east on King Street East, east on Queen Street East, and north on Broadview Avenue to Broadview Station.
Westbound (Morning Peak Period): Streetcars return to Roncesvalles yard via west on Erindale Avenue, south on Broadview Avenue, west on Queen Street East, west on King Street East, west on King Street West and west on The Queensway to Roncesvalles Carhouse.
PM peak period
Eastbound 508 (Roncesvalles yard-Broadview Stn) From Roncesvalles yard via south on Roncesvalles Avenue, east on King Street West, east on King Street East, east on Queen Street East, and north on Broadview Avenue to Broadview Station.
Westbound 508 (Broadview Stn-Long Branch): From Broadview Station via west on Erindale Avenue, south on Broadview Avenue, west on Queen Street East, west on King Street East, west on King Street West, west on The Queensway, through Humber Loop, and west on Lake Shore Boulevard West to Long Branch Loop.
All streetcars on the route serve local streetcar stops along the route.
