The approach to East Taunton's Parking Lot will have a detour in place from Monday, December 1 to Monday December 8 for MassDOT roadwork on Route 24 at exit 17B and Route 140.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing it will be performing road work on Route 24 northbound at Exit 17B to Route 140 northbound in Taunton. The work is scheduled for Monday, December 1 to Monday, December 8. Route 24 northbound Exit 17B will be closed 24 hours a day during this time. A detour will be in place. Route 24 Northbound exit 17B detour: Take exit 17A to Route 140 southbound Take exit 19A to Stevens Street Take on-ramp to Route 140 northbound. Appropriate signage and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area. Drivers traveling through the affected area should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution. All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
The Riverside Ave entrance at Campello Station is currently closed. Passengers may continue to use the Plain St entrance.
