On Monday, March 30, a construction schedule will go into effect on the Newburyport/Rockport Line. Between 9 AM and 3 PM on weekdays, 4 inbound and 4 outbound trains will be temporarily suspended. Visit MBTA.com/CR for more information.
This is to accommodate track improvement work and the replacement of 14,000 railroad ties and is scheduled to complete mid-May, 2026. Single-track operations will be in effect throughout this period so boarding areas may change. Temporarily Suspended Inbound Trains: • 126 (8:49am from Newburyport) • 1132 (10:53am from Beverly) • 46 (1:47pm from Rockport) • 1150 (3:23 from Beverly) Temporarily Suspended Outbound Trains: • 125 (8:35am to Newburyport) • 1129 (9:35am to Beverly) • 39 (12:05pm to Rockport) • 11:47am (2:05pm to Beverly)
