On Monday, March 30, a construction schedule will go into effect on the Newburyport/Rockport Line. Between 9 AM and 3 PM on weekdays, 4 inbound and 4 outbound trains will be temporarily suspended. Visit MBTA.com/CR for more information.
This is to accommodate track improvement work and the replacement of 14,000 railroad ties and is scheduled to complete mid-May, 2026. Single-track operations will be in effect throughout this period so boarding areas may change.
