To exit the Orange Line, exit the train at Oak Grove and find station personnel or use a station call box to request the shuttle bus to Malden Center. To board the Orange Line, find station personnel or use a station call box at Malden Center to request the shuttle bus to Oak Grove. Alternatively, customers may also use Bus Routes 132, 136 or 137 for transportation between Malden Center and Oak Grove.
Tufts Medical Center Escalator 147 (Forest Hills platform to Washington Street lobby) is unavailable due to maintenance.

The platform at Jackson Square is undergoing renovations to improve safety and accessibility. Sections of the platform are unlevel, which may make it difficult for some riders to board and exit trains.

State Escalator 6 (Oak Grove platform to Old State House lobby) unavailable
The stairway connecting the Jackson Square lobby and the south end of the platform is closed until winter 2026. Use the stairway at the north end of the platform. This closure is for the construction of a new stairway and a second elevator.

Alternatively, if possible, travel 0.2 miles south on Washington St to Tufts Medical Center.
