Mobility Bot

Commute Alerts for Slack and Microsoft Teams

The CTA in Chicago is Now Supported

Hello again, Chicago. With Metra and NICTD out of the way, the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) is the next available operator in Mobility Bot!

We’ve got you covered on all the major L lines:

We’ve also got you covered on your bus routes, whether you are a 22 Clark, J14 Jeffery Jump, 134 Stockton/LaSalle Express, or a rider of one of the other 100+ bus routes the CTA offers.

Transit agencies do a great job publishing this alert data, and the CTA provides a good System Status & Alerts page if you want to see what is going on across the system. Mobility Bot saves you from having to check your phone, allowing you to see this data right in the chat window you already have open if you are chatting in a Slack workspace for your job.

Here are some screenshots of various alerts. Because Mobility Bot is fully contained in Slack, alerts are available to you on iOS, Android, and your laptop. This also means you’ll receive notifications on your phone when there is a problem, instead of being caught off guard waiting in the cold at the L station or bus stop!
