The Monon Corridor is an 8-mile southern extension of the South Shore Line’s main Lakeshore Corridor. This new line connects north Hammond to its final stop at the Munster/Dyer Station.

7/30-8/2 LOLLAPALOOZA: July 30-31, 2026: An EB Extra train will depart Millennium Station at 10:40 p.m. (Van Buren St. at 10:42 p.m.), run non-stop to Hegewisch and make all local stops terminating at Carroll Ave. On Aug. 1-2, 2026: Westbound Train 608 and Train 508 will operate Extras for additional capacity. The Extra trains will depart approximately 10 minutes ahead of the scheduled departures of Tr 608 and Tr 508, and make all stops. On Aug. 1-2, an EB Extra train will depart Millennium Station at 10:55 p.m. (Van Buren St. at 10:57 p.m.), run non-stop to Hegewisch and make all local stops terminating at Carroll Ave.
