Lakeshore - Lakeshore Corridor
The Lakeshore Corridor route, frequently referred to as the South Shore Line, runs between Millennium Station in downtown Chicago and the South Bend International Airport in South Bend, Indiana. Intermediate stops are made in Hammond, Gary, and Michigan City.

UPDATE: Crews continue to repair damage across the railroad as a result of inclement weather, and at this time there will be limited Lakeshore Corridor service in effect, with significant delays expected. Passengers are advised crowded conditions aboard trains are likely, and we appreciate passengers’ patience. Limited busing substitution will be in place between 11th Street Michigan City and the South Bend Airport. There will be no service to Hudson Lake during busing. Passengers are advised there will be limited Monon Corridor shuttle service between Hammond Gateway and Munster/Dyer. Eastbound passengers destined for Monon Corridor stations are to board Lakeshore Corridor trains in Chicago, and will transfer at Hammond Gateway. 8/21-8/22 R&B TOUR @ SOLDIER FIELD: To accommodate passengers attending The R&B Tour starring Usher Raymond and Chris Brown taking place at 7pm, Friday, 8/21, and Saturday, 8/22, at Soldier Field, the South Shore Line plans to stop the following trains at Metra’s 18th Street Station: FRIDAY, Aug. 21: Westbound Tr 128, Tr 30, Tr 130; Eastbound Tr 35, Tr 101*. SATURDAY, Aug. 22: Westbound Tr 610, Tr 510; Eastbound Tr 517, Tr 601*. * NOTE: EB Tr 101/601 terminates in Michigan City, and does not serve Hudson Lake/South Bend.
