The Lakeshore Corridor route, frequently referred to as the South Shore Line, runs between Millennium Station in downtown Chicago and the South Bend International Airport in South Bend, Indiana. Intermediate stops are made in Hammond, Gary, and Michigan City.

7/30-8/2 LOLLAPALOOZA: July 30-31, 2026: An EB Extra train will depart Millennium Station at 10:40 p.m. (Van Buren St. at 10:42 p.m.), run non-stop to Hegewisch and make all local stops terminating at Carroll Ave. Aug. 1-2, 2026: Westbound Train 608 and Train 508 will operate Extras for additional capacity. The Extra trains will depart approximately 10 minutes ahead of the scheduled departures of Tr 608 and Tr 508, and make all stops. An EB Extra train will depart Millennium Station at 10:55 p.m. (Van Buren St. at 10:57 p.m.), run non-stop to Hegewisch and make all local stops terminating at Carroll Ave.
