12/19-1/2 KIDS RIDE FREE: SSL will expand for a limited time its Kids Ride Free program to ALL trains and train times. Up to three children 13 years of age and younger may ride any train for free — ALL weekend, holiday, off-peak or rush hour weekday trains — when accompanied by a parent or guardian between 12/19-1/2/26.

12/20/25 BEARS SOLDIER FIELD: In order to accommodate passengers attending the Chicago Bears vs. Packers home game at 7:20pm on Saturday, Dec. 20, the South Shore Line plans to stop the following trains at Metra’s 18th Street Station: WB Tr 610 & WB Tr 510; and EB Tr 515 & Tr 517.
