MDOT MTA Preakness Day Service

Taking Local Bus, Light Rail, Metro Subway, or MARC Train to Preakness this Saturday? The fare for all local MTA services is $2 one-way, $4 round-trip, and $4.60 for a day pass, which includes unlimited travel on Local Bus, Light Rail, and Metro Subway trains. Riders can use the CharmPass mobile ticketing app for fast and easy access to fares. The Transit app allows transit riders to track their bus, light rail, or metro subway train in real-time. LOCAL BUSES 30, 31, 34, 85, 91, and 94 all stop near Pimlico. LIGHT RAIL service to Coldspring Lane station then take an MTA shuttle bus to Pimlico between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Return shuttle bus service ends 2 hours after the last race. A $4.00 round trip ticket is required. METRO SUBWAY service to Rogers Avenue station then take a shuttle bus to Pimlico between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Return shuttle bus service ends 2 hours after the last race. A $4.60 day pass is required. MARC TRAIN Penn Line service from Union Station to Penn Station, then take Light Rail shuttle bus service to North Avenue Light Rail station. Board northbound Light Rail train service to Coldspring Lane station, then take connecting shuttle bus service to Pimlico. Return shuttle bus service ends 2 hours after the last race. A MARC Train ticket and $4.00 Light Rail round-trip ticket are required. The recent fire activity alongside the Penn Line tracks may affect service so please check for train status updates.
